The way experts clean carpets has changed over the past few years with the introduction of natural ecologically green chemicals as well as agitation of pre sprays and pre spotters.

You can also use the Sebo Duo like a form of dry carpet cleaning, powdered chemicals are spread across the carpet and then the machine is used to sink the chemical deep in in the carpets fibres. Then the broken down soil particles are vacuumed up leaving your carpet nice and dirt free. This is good as a way of maintenance following hot water extraction.

With regards to hot water extraction the expert can either operate a portable or truck mount machine. With either machine a long hose and flexible pipe is fixed the machine, on the other end a wand is used. The wand injects cleaning solution in to the carpet by squeezing a trigger and at the same time the wand vacuums up the dirt which is sucked up through the hose into a tank on top of the machine.

A portable machine is a much cheaper alternative than truck mounted, but with a truck mount you have got to be able to park on the properties drive. In London this is more or less impossible so a truck mount is not much use.
